Working principle of metal fiber combustion


The metal fiber burner belongs to the premixed gas surface combustion. A mixture of gas-fired air mixture is uniformly distributed to the burner head and burned on the surface layer of the metal fiber fabric with average permeability. Combustion is carried out in two modes, infrared radiation and blue flame. The infrared heat radiation is the combustion of the combustible mixture inside the fabric, the metal fiber fabric is heated to the incandescent state, and then the heat is released by radiation. The blue flame means that the combustible mixture is burned above the metal fiber fabric, and the flame carries the blue on the surface, and the heat is released by convection.
Because of the average permeability of the metal fiber and the average premixing of gas and air, the combustion is very stable and the temperature distribution is uniform, there is no local high temperature. Therefore, the formation of NOx is inhibited. Premixed has adequate air supply, so CO emissions are also low.
